Interaction with international organizations associated with nuclear regulations and related matters is essential in order for the NNR to:

1. Fullfill its national obligations in respect of international instruments concerning nuclear safety.
2. Comply with NNR requirements with respect to bilateral agreements with other international organization and regulators.
3. Keep abreast of international trends with regard to the development of surrounding nuclear regulations.
